Mangoes can be exported via a 15 day sea voyage to the European continent. The fruit is loaded in refrigerated containers.
Mangoes are green with a reddish blush. Varieties exported are Tomy Atkins, Keit, Kent and Palmer. A ripe mango gives off a distinctive resinous sweet smell. Mangoes are rich in a variety of vitamins and nutrients and have strong antioxidant properties.
